Stem Cell & PRP Therapy

Stem Cell Therapy is also commonly referred to as Regenerative Medicine. This state-of-the-art medical treatment combines the latest scientific research and medical technology, with a focus on non-surgical treatment. With this treatment we are able to treat damaged tissue found in tendons, ligaments, inflamed tissue, degenerated joints and other painful conditions.

Stem Cell Therapy utilizes the potential of your own bodies growth factors and enhances the body’s natural repair process. Stem cells are typically derived from your own fat or bone cells. This non-surgical treatment has the potential to reverse the effects of traumatic injury, chronic pain, and general wear and tear due.

Where is Stem Cell Therapy Typically Used?

Stem Cell Therapy may be very successful in reducing pain and inflammation. We most commonly use it as a treatment option for patients with joint and soft tissue pain. Treatments are also available for many anti-aging, cosmetic, neurological, pain management, sports medicine, orthopedic, and spinal conditions. Common musculoskeletal conditions treated with stem cell therapy include: inflammation, osteoarthritis, joint pain, tennis elbow, plantar fasciitis, tendinitis, tendon and ligament tears, muscle strains, bursitis, runner’s knee, hip pain, lower back pain and neck pain originating from the discs or joints within the spine. Stem Cell Therapy may improve the overall quality of life for a patient.

How does Stem Cell Therapy Work?

Stem Cell Therapy is applied directly to the injured or damaged tissue. Stem Cell Treatment act to replace the body’s missing ‘connective tissue matrix’, which is a natural interconnected system of Collagens, Growth Factors, and Bioactive Molecules that provide the structure, integrity and replenishment of the body’s various tissues.

What kind of results can be expected following Stem Cell Therapy introduced into the Cervical or Lumbar Spine?

An international clinical trial showed that a single injection of stem cells into degenerative discs reduced low back pain for approximately 12 months with pain relief as soon as 3-7 days and continued improvement over 4-12 weeks. It showed this treatment to be an effective means of alleviating back pain without surgical intervention.

Is Stem Cell Therapy an alternative to surgery?

Stem Cell Therapy contains biologic components that may control inflammation and may help support the restoration of damaged tissues. While surgery is necessary for certain injuries and conditions, it is more invasive, and can cause trauma to the body. Recovery from surgery is typically longer and very painful. Stem Cell Therapy is a viable option which is less invasive, less costly, and avoids surgical intervention to the spinal column.

How long does treatment take?

Stem Cell Therapy is typically a one-time treatment. Additional injections may be required to achieve the clinically desired result. The procedure itself takes approximately 5-10 minutes, and your entire visit will typically take approximately 60-90 minutes.

Does health insurance cover Stem Cell Therapy?

Stem Cell Therapy is an elective procedure and not covered by insurance providers
